For the sweet eating, ones, I used a product called Torro. It came in a small bottle and was like a syrup like pale yellow substance you put on tiny pieces of kleenx and spread them by the trails. It was great. The very next morning the ants, kleenex bits and trails were gone for good! Would it work on carpenter ants?
